Some Technical Help

Alright, so... after my boyfriend's computer started to do a very naughty
thing, I decided after i fixed it, that I would post it to here in case anyone
else has a computer that is being naughty.

This is another of my little corners of life that i enjoy dabbling in.  I like
to fix things as much as I like tearing them apart.  So, if this solution
works for anyone else.  CHEERS!   





1. Turn off the laptop and close the lid.
2. Unplug the AC power.
3. Remove the battery.
4. Replace the AC power.
5. Open the laptop, boot up the laptop.
6. After logged into the machine, perform a normal shutdown.
7. Unplug the AC power.
8. Replace the battery.
9. Replace AC power.
10. Turn on laptop, allow OS to boot.
 
                               Should work normally again.

So, after the guy came to hook up my
internet for the second time, as the
first time the guy did not hook it up
correctly, he asked me what I would
like to name my connection, as I told
him it felt like someone was leeching
my bandwidth.  So being annoyed as I
was over all of this nonsense, I had to
keep somewhat a sense of humor.  I
told him to name it.  Click here to blow
up your computer.  Hehehehe.  I think
that would get the point across.  Don't
you?
